What a predicament this was… Pandemonium really did not foresee being sent this far into a bunker… nor could he have guessed that there would be very angry natives in this area either. However, it was too late his dark coat with his bluish white underside stuck out against the warm reds and browns of an area full of stone and magma. The heat rolled across his coat, and the humidity was absent as there was a clear lack of water. He doubted that water could last long in this area anyhow before it evaporated and found it's way out from this stone dungeon. His blue eyes scanned across reds, oranges, yelllows, and browns before stopping on a cream and white creature? He stared for a moment thinking what it could be… bulky, with spines all down its back, large strong claws, two straight horns, and a beak. This must be some kind of Tark'ee… as he examined the creature, now assumed to be some sort of Tark'ee he noticed the blue eyes of the creature in question had locked onto him. 'This is it- this is the end,' Pandemonium thought to himself, gently closing his eyes to quickly curse Vermillion for sending him on this quote-on-quote, "Simple Recon." If Pandemonium managed to live he would surely have some strong words for the blind man to hear.
Upon opening his eyes, Pandemonium watched as the creature had turned towards him and was beginning to come towards him. 'This is why I stay within colony grounds…' Was his last passing thought, as he peered around to find safety or any kind of sanctuary. His dark claws couldn't drag into the ground, and so he took notice of this, as he quickly moved to put a lava pool between him and the apparent opponent who he was now facing. Moving swiftly but trying to remain calm, Pandemonium walked a narrow path between two pools which he assumed the bulky creature could now be able to confidently pass through. The lava pools were constantly in motion, with bubbles popping as hot air below the pools rose to the surface. The colors within the pools were also interesting to Pandemonium as there was a darker red/orange ring which appeared on the edges cooling slowly to a redfish black/brown while the molten centers were yellow, white and bright orange. The creature in question approached the thin walking area, bowing its head to peer at the crossing. It brought up its horned head once more, holding it level with its shoulders before glancing left and right, glancing around the pools. It chose to go to the left and so in response Pandemonium began the other way, and then both froze once more. This was about to become a game of cat and mouse, purely based on skills and outsmarting one another.
The time ticked on, as Pandemonium was slowly becoming slower as the heat soaked into his bones making him feel slow and in addition the heat seemed to weigh on him. The creature didn't slow one bit, even as the time ticked by it continued to move at the same speed and agility as earlier. Pandemonium had yet to notice a weak spot, or a way out of this place. Everything was either stone or lava, he didn't want to search corners as he could become trapped… though it appeared at some point this would be the answer in the end. He would need to search the "corners" or areas of little forgiveness. If he entered a corner space and he was wrong, it could lead to injury or possibly even death depending on the restriction of the corner in particular. He remembered the view when he first entered this area… but there were three areas he had seen similar views and so he doubted what the exact details were.
Pandemonium was finally making his choice, he was guessing the last of the three spaces which was furthest from where he currently stood because of all his antics to not get caught up till now. He made a slow and methodical move towards the corner space hoping to find a way out even if it's not THE way out, anything other than this room had to be better. After finally making it to the "corner" he knew the creature was close, as he stepped into the area and peered around hoping to see open halls. However, as he looked he heard and felt a terrible sign. A large creature's breath just moved across the end of his tail and tail tip, it was here and he needed to move. As he began to move hoping to escape the angry creature, only time would tell the outcome of this encounter as adrenaline kicked in, and he bucked his feet upwards just in case the creature was close enough to strike.

The Heat Which Rises
A small game of Cat and Mouse with Maddison and Pandemonium as the poor homebody is shoved in an unfortunate and unforgettable adventure of a lifetime.
I set "Creature" as a nickname for Maddison, as it didn't make logical sense to me that Pandemonium would know her name- but it can be changed if necessary!
