— POV << Pandemonium >> —
Pandemonium found himself skidding down the hall, as the Creature was hot on his tail tuft. The heat was less noticeable in the halls, as there seemed to be a constant draft, no matter how slight it circulated the air rather than letting the heat sit. He needed to make sure to grab Zephyr on his way out, the two had separated earlier to cover more ground. The one issue is that the tunnels seemed the same and the terrain markings which would seperate them from one another, such as one magma pool versus two, or a large purple stone versus a large blue stone on the wall were impossible to see as he ran for his life. Hopefully Zephyr's travels were more productive and Pandemonium was hoping to run into him but if he didn't, it was all on Zephyr to get himself out.
— POV << Zephyr >> —
Zephyr had long since left Pandemonium, searching for anything useful in the bunker. It was warm but not unbearable… the brick-colored Tsabhub was searching high and low at his own leisure. Zephyr came across a room with a large creature, maybe a Tark'ee, though he wasn't sure. As he moved around the edges of the area he would something unexpected. The creature was definitely a Tark'ee, as what was in front of him was a large Tark'ee egg. Zephyr glanced around him, being in a dark corner of the room the large Tark'ee hadn't spotted him. He slowly reached towards the egg, and gently grabbed the large object with his front arms. Using his second set of front arms he positioned the egg in a way that would make it easier to carry. After he was satisfied with his grip on the egg, he began to slink back out of the room. Now if nothing else, Panda and him would not return empty handed. As he returned to the hall he had split from Panda in, and he heard a rather concerning sound… a thundering set of footsteps, rather two sets of thundering footsteps. "Panda-" Zephyr was quickly cut off by Pandemonium, "WE HAVE GOT TO GO ZEPH- NOW-" Then Zephyr saw it. A large Tark'ee not dissimilar from the one he had seen in the room with the egg… but a different color, the last one had been grey, the one chasing Panda was cream. However all those thoughts were processed in a mere second as Zephyr rounded on his feet and started to run, clutching the egg in his claws. Panda was approaching fast with the cream Tark'ee right on his tail tuff, "GO ZEPH- MOVE-" Zephyr ran hard no longer caring how loud he was, the chase was on. Zephyr was trying to track where they had been, but it ended with them all going in circles at least twice. Even ending up back in the room where Pandemonium had picked up the cream Tark'ee chasing him. Finally the two managed to find a crevice which they could slink into, egg included but that the aggravated Tark'ee could not. Huffing and puffing, three sets of bright blue eyes stared at each other, before one set saw the egg within Zephyr's arms. A loud keening noise came from the cream creature followed by a clawed arm slipping into the crack and smacking around looking for any items of purchase.
There was silence for a few moments as the stranger's cerulean eyes glared through the dim lit space. Then a flinch, followed by loud huff and multiple thuds, then more light was entering the space which protected them. The two then noticed that this shelter was not made of the same hard stone that cooled their paws as they stood on it, rather it held warms and formed patterns like a tree. This material was formed over time and likely not truely stone, rather layered cool magma which may shatter like glass on impact. There was magma on the edges of the holes as they ate through the rock which protected the two Tsabhubs. Pandemonium and Zephyr looked at the "ceiling" before looking to each other and then to the now seemingly smug Tark'ee. There was a whip-like sound through the air followed by a crashing thud which shook the rocks encasing them. The shelter was crumbling, and was leading them right back towards their large adversary. The braced as the "whip" sounded twice more, before the roof came crashing in. Zephyr wrapped himself around the egg carefully, making a break for an open area as soon as he could. However the Tark'ee despite its size, was quick and standing directly in front of Zephyr clearly pissed that he was holding an egg of sorts. Zephyr ever the talkative tried something he knew wouldn't work, "So uh… is this yo-" this was all the further that he got before having to dodge the large spiked and whip-like tail which came his way. Though the creature had clearly forgot about its original target, as Pandemonium now took a running start at the Tark'ee, interrupting the swing of its strong tail as much like a gnat on a flowering hound, the black Tsabhub clung to the Tark'ee drawing her full attention. This break in focus let Zephyr return to the tunnels, as the Tark'ee attempted to remove Pandemonium from its back. Screeching and stomping, before the Tsabhub removed himself and swiftly followed in Zephyr's steps. The two Tsabhubs then ran to the exterior of the bunker, this time remembering the correct path to freedom.
